Julie Erikssen's deeply personal interpretations gracefully serve the subtle tones of the European jazz universe. As a musical enchantress, her original compositions and arrangements are simply mesmerizing. She has shared the stage with major names such as Ali Jackson, Aaron Goldberg, Snarky Puppy, and Manu Katché. Signed to Sony Music at the age of 19, her voice appears on more than 10 albums as both lead singer and backing vocalist. Jacob Karlzon is often compared to jazz piano legends such as Bill Evans and Sweden’s own Esbjörn Svensson (E.S.T.). Wonderful composer and virtuoso pianist, he joined the prestigious roster of Steinway Artists in 2012, a mark of international recognition for his musical excellence. The title is inspired by one particular speech from him, where he reminds us that there is no need to fear confrontation because "Out of chaos, stars are born". This powerful message resonates throughout the album, which unfolds within a galactic universe in 3 chapters. From the initial cataclysm to the soothing sparkle, the stages of a star's birth are evoked through 12 original hymn-like songs that transport listeners from one world to another. Each track is a journey, echoing Chaplin's timeless ability to blend joy with melancholy, whimsy with profound insight. . "There" is a hauntingly beautiful ballad that weaves together an ethereal atmosphere with a deeply personal message. The lyrics serve as a poignant letter to the artist's deceased brother, who was an inspiration to her. The epic first single "Breathe feels like a deep breath taken in dark waters..
